Why should I hire an Independendent Educational Consultant?

 

​An Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) can provide you with individual attention and a personalized plan for college admission beyond the services offered by your school guidance counselor.  An IEC can help to reduce stress by helping you set goals, effectively manage your time, craft an appopriate college list, and present your best possible application.

Why should I hire Admission Logic?

 

We apply our experience as educators, as well as the counseling and advocacy skills we developed as lawyers, to the college admission process, providing rigorous analysis and individualized support to our clients.  We offer competitive pricing, customized services and flexible scheduling.

What is the process for working with Admission Logic?
 

We’ll begin with a free consultation during which we’ll get to know each other.  We’ll find out about your interests, goals, academic record, and extracurricular activities.  Together, we’ll determine which counseling package best meets your needs.   If you decide to work with us, we’ll set up a plan for subsequent meetings.  We can meet with you in person or via Skype or FaceTime.

Where is Admission Logic located?  Do you work with students only in certain locations?

 
We are based in Philadelphia and its Main Line suburbs, but we work with clients throughout the United States and overseas.  If you live in the Philadelphia region, we can meet at your home or another convenient location.  If you live elsewhere, we can work with you via Skype or FaceTime, as well as by email and telephone.

Do you work with students of all interests and abilities?

Yes, we work with a diverse group of students, including first generation college applicants, students with learning differences, athletes, international students, Ivy League applicants --- anyone interested in applying to college.
