College Counseling Services

Admission Logic offers multiple college counseling packages and services, including a comprehensive package that students may begin in 9th-11th grade; a senior package, focused on the college search and application process; and packages focused solely on college selection or solely on application essays.  Hourly consultation is also available and may be used for the client’s choice of issues.

Comprehensive Package

•    Up to four annual academic progress consultations (9th-12th grade), including review of academic records, extracurricular involvement, interests and goals.

•    Advice regarding high school course selection, standardized test selection and scheduling, extracurricular development, and summer activities.

•    Research and formulation of college list, identifying appropriate “reach,” “target” and “likely” schools.

•    Strategizing regarding early decision, early action, and regular decision applications.

•    Advice regarding campus visits.

•    Brainstorming and selection of essay topics; editing of essays. (Common Application essay and writing supplements, including essays and/or short answer responses, for up to four colleges.)

•    Practice for alumni and/or on-campus admission interviews.

•    Assistance with staying organized and on-task throughout the admission process.

•    Review of admission offers, including financial aid offers, and advice regarding matriculation decision.

Hourly Advice 

 

•    Available during freshman through senior year for clients who have not selected a package.  Time may be used for any counseling service at the client’s preference, including but not limited to review of college list generated by the student, essay editing, or interview practice.

•    If client selects four-hour prepaid package, it is client’s responsibility to schedule and use all four hours; prepaid fees are not refundable.
